Terms of Service
Last updated: February 23, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Solem platform and website at solem.ai (the "Service"), operated by TNEP ("we," "us," or "our"), under the brand name Solem. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
2. The Service
Solem is a shared knowledge base that allows you to save, organize, search, and retrieve web content and documents. The Service includes:
- A web application and browser extension for saving and searching content.
- An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server and CLI for AI agent access.
- APIs for programmatic access to your knowledge base.
- AI-powered features including semantic search and content analysis.
3. Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you save to your knowledge base ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, index, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save and use the content in your knowledge base. You agree not to use the Service to store or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, or violates the rights of others.
4. AI Agent Access
When you authorize AI agents to access your knowledge base (via MCP server, CLI, or API), you are responsible for managing that access. You control which agents can read from and write to your knowledge base, and you can revoke access at any time.
Content saved by authorized agents on your behalf is treated the same as content you save directly. You are responsible for reviewing and managing agent-contributed content.
5. Subscriptions and Payment
The Service is offered through paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. All prices are listed in EUR.
- Free trial. New accounts receive a 40-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start a trial.

- Lifetime plans. Lifetime plans grant access to the Service for as long as it operates. Lifetime plans do not include a refund option after 14 days.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose.

7. Availability and Support
We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify the Service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons with reasonable notice when possible.
8. Data and Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.
You can export your knowledge base data at any time. If you delete your account, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, documentation, and branding, is owned by TNEP and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand features.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solem shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings in the Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. You may export your data before termination. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including Limitation of Liability, Disclaimer, and Governing Law).
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
